High-performance Liquid Chromatography in Different Years Thirty-seven Saponin Content

Abstract
[Objective J The content of sapomns in the root of Panax notoginsengy Burk. ) F.. H. Chen with different growth ages was measured.[Method] By means of high-performance liquid chromatography, the main root notoginseng the content of the saponin in the root of Panax notoginseng( Burk. ) F. H. Chen from Wenshan areas of Yunnan was tested and the change in the content of the saponin of the samples with different planting years was explored. The chromatographic condition was: the column was Kromasil ODS Cl8(250 mm ×4.6 mm,5 μm) , the acetonitrile-water as mobile phase was used for gradient elution, the flow rate was 1. Oml/min, the wavelength of UV in detector was 203 ran and the column temperature was 25 ℃.[Results] with the increment of growth age, the content of saponin in root of Panax notoginseng (Burk. ) F. H. Chen was relatively increased and the best planting year was in 3 years to 4 years. [Conclusion] The method was simple and could be used in the determination of saponins.关键词
