摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The aim of this study was to explore the effects of methionine copper ( Cu-Met) chelate substituting for inorganic copper together with probiotics on productive performance of piglets. [Method] 96 piglets of Rongchang Pig were randomly divided into four groups and feeding experiment was made with different diets. The growth performance and blood biochemical indices of piglets were determined. And the bacteria propagation situations of intestinal mucosal cells of piglets and diarrhea rate of weaned piglets were studied. [Result] Cu-Met chelate could significantly enhance the growth-promoting function of living bacteria preparation. The daily weight gain and the feed-gain ratio of piglets in the test group with adding Cu-Met and probiotics together were significantly higher than that in control group and group of adding probiotics singly. Adding probiotics could effectively increase the amount of beneficial bacteria in piglet intestine and inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria. Synergism of Cu-Met chelate with probiotics had better growth-growing effects. [Conclusion] Cu-Met chelate together with probiotics could obviously enhance the production performance of piglets and their suitable dose in complete feed of piglets were 150 mg/kg and 1 g/kg respectively.
