摘要

Abstract

The carboxymethyl chitin and sodium alginate (SA) were mixed to prepare hydrogel. The effects of pH value, the proportion of SA to carboxymethyl chitin, the amount of SA and the dosage of crosslinker on the swelling behaviors of hydrogels have been studied. The results showed that the factors related above regulated their swelling behavior. The swelling ratio (SR) of hydrogel was the larger one at the condition in which the proportion of SA to carboxymethyl chitin, the concentration of SA, the concentration of carboxymethyl chitin and the dosage of crosslinker were 4:6, 4. 5% , 5.0% and 0. 30 separately. The release behavior of Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) entrapped in the hydrogels was of distinctly difference with the changes of pH value of loading medium. The release ratio of BSA in CMCT hydrogel in the medium of pH = 1.2was5.6% while in the medium of pH =7.4, the total release ratio was 79. 8% . The hydrogel could protect macromolecular drugs in the sour environment of stomach, then, carried it into intestinal tract with high pH, finally, released, which showed the application potential in oral drugs controlled-release system.
