Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to determine the free nicotine in tobacco by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. [ Method] Free nicotine was extracted with water, chloroform, acidizing fluid in order, and its contents were determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. [Result] The results showed that there was no significant difference between ultraviolet spectrophotometry and gas chromatography internal standard method, and the reproducibility of ultraviolet spectrophotometry met the requirements of conventional chemical analysis. The method applied to the determination of free nicotine in Honghuadajinyuan and K326 with satisfactory results. [ Conclusion] Ultraviolet spectrophotometry is a fast determination method for free nicotine with higher accuracy from tobacco.关键词
