Abstract
The working principle of Jabber protocol and H. 264 standard applied in agricultural remote diagnosis and the framework of each system were reviewed, and the instant messaging between farmers and specialists with the forms of long-distance voice frequency, literals and white board was designed and realized. System testing shows that agricultural remote diagnosis technology based on Jabber protocol and H. 264 standard can realize two-way video communication between farmers and specialists, and can help farmers to diagnose agricultural pest remotely. Moreover, the system consumes lower network bandwidth in the process of operation and working stably.关键词
