CTLA-4基因多态性与豫南地区汉族人群1型糖尿病的相关性
Association between CTLA-4 gene polymorphism and type 1 diabetes mellitus in Han population in the south of Henan province
摘要
Abstract
To investigate the association of the first exon of cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 ( CTLA-4 ) gene + 49 A/G polymorphism with susceptibility to type 1 diabetes mellitus ( Tl DM ) in Han population in the south of Henan province. Methods The A/ G phenotype at position 49 of the first exon of CTLA-4 gene was determined by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism ( PCR-RFLP ) method in 108 T1DM patients and 100 healthy control subjects. Results The frequencies of the +49G allele and GG genotype were significantly higher in T1DM patients than those in control subjects ( P =0. 001 vs 0. 005 respectively ). Conclusion The polymorphism of the first exon of CTLA-4 gene + 49 A/ G confers susceptibility to Tl DM in the south of Henan province.关键词
