Abstract
Urban structure is an important subject in urban geography and planning.Traffic structure,distributions of employment center,of residential centers and of population in the Phoenix metropolitan area were analyzed.The ＂smart growth＂ mode for urban development and future development trend were especially noted.Suggestions regarding transport development,urban land use distribution,suburban and urban development and fairness of urban development for Chinese urban developments were made.关键词
