Simulation investigation on perforation and penetration based on EFG method
摘要
Abstract
By integrating the element-free Galerkin (EFG) method with the LS-DYNA software, an a-nalysis model for perforation and penetration was developed to numerically simulate the penetration of a spherical-nose projectile into a semi-infinite steel target in three dimensions. The simulated results were compared with the ones by the cavity expansion theory and the finite element method. The comparison demonstrates the feasibility and superiority of the EFG method in the simulation of perforation and penetration.关键词
