摘要

Abstract

Based on fractal theory,a modified algorithm was proposed to complete the virtual simulation of three-dimensional terrain based on Diamond-Square algorithm.Based on Diamond-Square algorithm,a compensation term was introduced into the modified algorithm to improve the defect which is generated when directly use Diamond-Square algorithm to generate three-dimensional terrain.The experimental results show that the method of using the improved Diamond-Square algorithm to generate three-dimensional terrain is feasible and can get good results for three-dimensional terrain simulation.
