Multi-Sensor Aggregation for Path Reliability Estimation in WSNs

Abstract
In wireless sensor networks, data transmission with energy-effective path faces the problems of lower reliability and link failures. Considering these problems, an in-network data aggregation approach is proposed for energy efficient routing based on the estimation of path reliability. According to the average PRR, granularity of redundancy changing and average energy consumption rate, this method could dynamically lock the abrupt change point in path reliability curve, so that it makes possible for a user estimate the current path reliability in real-time. A redundant transmission approach is employed to improve path reliability and to balance the network energy consumption. The experiment result validates the proposed algorithms.关键词
