Extraction and Separation of β-sitosterol from Natural Rubber Latex and Its Influence on Rubber Aging Properties and Thermal Stability
摘要
Abstract
Lipids existed in natural rubber latex were extracted by organic solvents（choroform/methanol mixes）.The β-sitosterol was separated after saponifing the lipids.Also the influence of β-sitosterol on aging properties and thermal stability of rubber were measured and studied.The results show that β-sitosterol is a natural antioxidant present in natural rubber.It can improve the anti-aging performance of natural rubber.In addition,β-sitosterol is also effective to cis-1,4-polyisoprene.The thermal stability of natural rubber and cis-1,4-polyisoprene have been improved in the different extents by adding β-sitosterol.关键词
