Abstract
In order to avoid the backflow of the proppant after fracturing, many methods have been proposed to remove or diminish the backflow in oilfield. The fiber technology has the best potential. To evaluate the performance of the fiber, the impact of fiber on proppant conductivity is studied. Experiment results show that there is a optimum fiber concentration which can influence the conductivity. Under different particle diameter, fiber influences conductivity differently. The optimal time of fiber adding is important, because adding the fiber prematurely or too late will impact the conductivity. Under different proppant concentration, the impact of adding fiber on conductivity is different, that is, the higher the proppant concentration, the higher the conductivity. The result is significant for practical fracturing design.关键词
