Evolvement of Karst Landform in Shenglianshan Geopark in Western-Hill, Beijing
摘要
Abstract
There is a small-scale karst basin in Dashi upriver in north of Fangshan District, Beijing. Shenglianshan Geopark is located at Fangshan Global Geopark; to geological structure, it is situated at the south of Baihuashan syncline. From the bottom up, the sedimentary rocks are oolitic limestone of Cambrian Zhangxia Fm, stripe limestone of Cambrian Chaomidian Fm and limestone of Ordovician. In the geological history, three staged movements of Indosinian Movement, Yanshanian Movement and Neotectonic Movement have formed the beautiful landscapes in the geopark. The Xiangshan anticline was formed by the convergence from Indosinian Movement. The karst dykes along two direction of Shenniu and Cuiping Mts were shaped by the convergence from Yanshanian Movement. There were 8 stages of land uplifting movement during Neotectonic Movement in this area, which formed the Light Through Cave, Isolated Peak, foot cave, peak cluster, karst planation surface, karst dyke and karst cave. The Light Through Cave is the topmost karst cave in Westem Hills. Isolated Peak is the remains of peak forest of Neogene Period. Shengmishi Pool is a foot cave of Isolated Peak. Bijia Shah belong to combined landform of Pliocene stone forest and Quaternary karst dyke. Liansma Platform is karst planation surface formed in middle Pleistocene Epoch. Cuiping Peak and Sbengniu Mt are karst walls formed in later Pleistocene Epoch. Yinxian Cave is a karst cave formed in Holocene Epoch.关键词
