摘要
Abstract
As a member of the Southern Society, Pang Shubai was not only a poet in the modern times but also a representative of the new local gentry. His prominent contribution was that he played an important role in facilitat- ing the Changshu recovery in November 1911. The revolutionaries represented by Pang Shubai took Chinese Revo- lutionary League and the Southern Society as platforms to assert democratic revolution and formed a new local polit- ical power in the late Qing Dynasty and Early Republic, thus leading to a structural evolution of the local elite groups which reflected the historical impact of The Revolution of 1911 on the transition of local society.关键词
