Calculation method of reasonable pile spacing for horizontal bearing piles
摘要
Abstract
Reasonable pile spacing is one of the key parameters for design of horizontal bearing pile,and it is generally solved through soil arching theory.But these methods did not consider the role of lateral pressure on the arch and the variable cross-section of soil arching.Under the assumption that the reasonable arch axis in the soil was elliptical arch,taking into account the lateral earth pressure on soil arching,based on static equilibrium conditions and the Mohr-Coulomb strength theory,the authors proposed a calculating method of reasonable pile spacing.It is proposed that the soil shear strength parameters should be divided by the safety factor in the application of the method in the engineering application.Finally,the method was verified by an example.关键词
