Law, Legal Protection of Investors and Enterprise Innovation
摘要
Abstract
Under the legal and financial theoretical framework, this paper investigates into the relation be- tween legal protection of small- and medium-sized investors and enterprise technology innovation. Based on da- ta from 517 Chinese listed companies from 2004 to 2008, the paper initiates some empirical tests from the per- spective of R＆D investment and patent application. The results show that well-formed legislation and effective enforcement can promote enterprises＇ technological innovation. Improving legislative quality can make listed companies increase their R＆D investment, and even see an upward movement of their innovative efficiency. This paper also puts forward recommendations of policies to better their technological innovation.关键词
