Modeling and Design of "EΠ" Core Coupled Inductor in 3-Phase Voltage Regulator Module
摘要
Abstract
In order to adapt the power delivery requirements of modern microprocessors of high current,lower voltage and faster transient response,this paper proposes "EΠ" core coupled inductors to be used in 3-phase interleaving voltage regulator module(VRM).This paper sets up the coupled inductors' magnetic model and improves magnetic model including air gap fringe reluctance and air reluctance outside the windings by analyzing its flux distribution,deduces the air reluctance formulas with air space cutting method,and gets the formulas of self inductance and leakage inductance and the design method.3D finite element simulation and experiment results verify the "EΠ" core coupled inductors structure and its magnetic model and design method.关键词
