Abstract
When impulse current test is implemented for the lightning arrester,the circuit resistance changes in nonlinear characteristics,and its values under high and low current are differentiated greatly,so it is difficult to accurately estimate the output wave parameters.Through analyzing the impact of nonlinear EUT on the test circuit output waveform,an improved design method of test circuit for nonlinear EUT is proposed.The main idea is to design the circuit parameters in under-damping condition according to the EUT characteristics,charging capacitance and the applied impulse current parameters.Then the proposed method is compared with the previous method which is based on the critical damping condition.The advantage of this method compared to the previous is that it can provide an accurate range for the wave-adjusting resistance in fixed main capacitance.In the wave adjusting process,only the wave-adjusting resistance needs to be adjusted,which not only simplifies the wave adjusting process,but also improves the rate of successful wave adjusting.Finally,practical test is implemented to validate the rationality and practicability of the proposed method.关键词
