Study on flux-cored wire semi-automatic welding technology for Q235B steel

Abstract
This paper introduced experimental study on vertical welding, horizontal welding and T-joint flat welding with flux-cored wire semi-automatic welding technology for Q235B steel.E71T-8JD H8 flux-cored wire was selected in the test.The reasonable welding process parameters were defined for three welding processes.The experimental results show that the appearance testing and nondestructive testing of the welding joint of three welding processes are qualified.The experimental results, including the tensile test, bend test and impact test of the welding joint of vertical welding and horizontal welding,and the guided bend test of the T-joint flat, show that the welding joint of three welding processes meet the relative standard's requirements and the operating requirements with high strength and toughness.The selected welding material and welding process parameters can be used for field welding of Q235B steel.关键词
