摘要

Abstract

Recently, a lot of efforts were dedicated to the investigation on TiO2-coated LiCoO2, indicating that the surface-coating produced remarkable improvement in cycle ability. However, the working mechanism of surface-coating was still unclear so far. In this work, in combination with the study on the phase thermal stability of coating materials against LiCoOa, TiOjr-coated LiCoO2 was investigated in detail by a sol-gel coating route and further a possible coating process and working mechanism of coating materials were proposed.
