摘要

Abstract

Fucoxanthin is a major carotenoid of edible brown seaweeds, and is considered to be one of major active compound of marine algae. The fucoxanthin extraction from Laminaria japonica by Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus niger and Bacillus natto was optimized by microbial solid fermentation . The results showed that the optimum microbial strain was Bacillus natto, best fermentation condition of which was inoculum volume was 8% at 37 "C for 3 d. Under above conditions, the fucoxanthin extraction rate was 1. 03 mg/g.
