Abstract
The integration of large scale wind farm brings serious influence to the stability of power system. The stability of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) via single machine vs. Infinite system is investigated at first. It is revealed that, for the rotor motion of DFIG itself, there exists the electromagnetic transition unstable phenomenon but not kinetic unstable phenomenon. Furthermore, according to the connection mode of DFIG-based wind farm and traditional synchronous generator, the transient stability of power system is compared and analyzed. Examples by simulation show that, due to the fast recovery character of the active power output by DFIG, the transient stability of hybrid system containing DFIG-based wind farm may be deteriorated obviously.关键词
