A Nonlinear Control of Constant Power Regulation for Variable-speed Constant-frequency Wind Turbine Driven DFIG System

Abstract
A new power regulation strategy for the variable-speed constant-frequency wind turbine driven doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) system is studied with simultaneous pitch angle and excitation voltage control.The primary objective of the control strategy is to reduce electrical power and rotor speed fluctuations above the rated wind speed.Based on the wind turbine's characteristics and basic electromagnetic relationship of DFIG,a nonlinear mathematic model of the variable speed constant frequency wind turbine driven DFIG is established.The feedback linearization theory is used to design a nonlinear controller.Compared with existing strategies which only consider the pitch angle or electromagnet torque regulation,the proposed approach achieves better power regulation.关键词
