Abstract
General-purpose processor and embedded processor are the two branches of microprocessor since its birth. General-purpose processors are used in general-purpose computers, and embedded processors in embedded applications. Three basic characteristics of microprocessors are single chip, embedded and interconnection of things. Three different ages of microprocessor application in the 30 years or so are the age of microcontroller, the age of embedded system and the age of IOT. Embedded system is the transformation of microcontroller, and IOT is the transformation of embedded system. Every transformation yields major changes.关键词
