Abstract
In power cells of the four-quadrant cascaded H-bridge multilevel converters,the output power of H-bridge single-phase inverters contains component whose frequency is twice the output voltage frequency. This component will cause the DC-link voltage to pulsate if the PWM rectifier in the input stage is controlled with the conventional method. Proportional-integral-resonant (PIR) regulator was proposed for the DC-link voltage loop and the AC current loop of the voltage-oriented control of the PWM rectifier. Experimental result shows that the DC-link voltage is well-controlled even with a very small DC-link capacitor,which confirms the effectiveness of proposed control strategy.关键词
