Operational Tests of Thyristor Valves for ±660 kV DC Power Transmission Project From Ningdong to Shandong
摘要
Abstract
To attain higher transmission capacity and efficiency, UHVDC power transmission is increasingly applied in China. As one of its key equipment, it is necessary for thyristor valves to endure complete and effective type test to ensure that the design of the valves are correct. Based on the standard of IEC 60700-1 and after in-depth investigate and survey on existing operational test circuits, a new set of operational test device is developed and applied to ±660 kV DC power transmission project from Ningdong to Shandong. Key parameters of this device and typical test results of-thyristor valves for this project are presented. Test results show that the development of the thyristor valves is successful.关键词
