Abstract
In view of the shortage of an international standard for the methods for poultry metabolism trials, the choice of the number of replicates per treatment and the animal number per replicate, the estimation of endogenous nutrients and collection of excreta for the determination of nutrient metabolism of individual feed ingredients is crucial.
