光纤参量放大器增益特性的理论与仿真分析
Theoretical Analysis and Simulation on Gain Characteristics of the Fiber Optical Parametric Amplifier

Abstract
In order to optimize the gain characteristics of the Fiber Optical Parametric Amplifier( FOPA) ,the gain and bandwidth characteristics with different fiber lengths, pump powers and fiber nonlinear coefficients are theoretically compared and analyzed. The results indicate that the gain of FOPA could be improved by applying a long fiber, a large pump power, or a large nonlinear coefficient, meanwhile, the gain bandwidth increases with the pump power and the nonlinear coefficient. Furthermore, the theoretical analysis is verified by computer simulation. Although there are a few deviations between simulation and theoretical results, the simulation results effectively demonstrate the validity and feasibility from the theoretical analysis.关键词
