摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and side effects of azithromycin in children with mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods: Totally 84 children with mycoplasma pneumonia were randomly divided into therapeutic and control group (42 patients in each group). Children in therapeutic group were treated with azithromycin intervenously 10 mg/(kg · D) , once a day for 5 ~7 days, followed by oral azithromycin at the same dosage, with a total cause of 3 ~4 weeks: while the patients in control group were treated with erythromycin intervenously 20 ~30 mg/(kg · D), twice a day for 7 ~ 10 days, followed by oral erythromycin at the same dosage for another 7 ~ 14 days. Other antibiotics were not used during observation. The total efficacy and disappearance time of clinical symptom and sign, and the side effects were observed. Results: The total effective rates in the therapeutic group and the control group were 97.62% and 95.24% respectively, and there was no significant difference group (P>0.05). The disappearance time of clinical symptom, sign and the duration of hospitalization were shorter in the therapeutic group than those in the control group (P<0. 05). The ratio of adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal reaction, local intravenous pain in azithromycin treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Azithromycin is more fast-acting, more effective and safer in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children than erythromycin. Azithromycin is promising in the treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumonia.关键词
