Abstract
Objective: To study the feature of children' s severe adverse drug reactions/events (ADR/ADE ). Methods: Together 273 children's severe ADR/ADE reports during 2007 -2010 collected in Henan ADR monitoring database were analyzed retrospectively. Results: More boys (63. 00% ) were reported with severe ADRs/ADEs than girls (37. 00% ) , and their peak age was from 0 to 3 years old (43.96% ). Furthermore 44. 44% ADRs/ADEs were induced by anti-infective preparations and 85. 34% by intravenous administration, and the main clinical manifestation was respiratory system injury (37. 76%). Conclusions: The monitoring and management of children' s severe ADRs/ADEs should be strengthened to reduce their occurrence.关键词
