Effects of Returning Milk Vetch to Soil and Reducing Chemical Fertilizer on Rice Yield

Abstract
Field experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of returning milk vetch to soil and reducing application of chemical fertilizer on the growth and yield of rice.The result showed that the yield of later-cropping rice and economic benefit decreased,if the field treated only with returning milk vetch.In the treatments combined with returning milk vetch and chemical fertilizer with reduced amounts by 40%-60%,the rice yield and economic benefit were higher than those of only chemical fertilizer treatment.The treatment with milk vetch and 60% chemical fertilizer showed the highest yield and economic benefit of rice,where the yield of rice increased 6.3% and the economic yield increased 10.0% than the treatment of chemical fertilizer alone.关键词
