摘要

Abstract

Sol-gel was used to prepare Al2O3/Mo composite powder. The influence of process control agent (PCA)- stearic acid and ethanol on the refinement of Al2O3/Mo composite powder was investigated. The phase and morphology of the composite powder were analyzed by means of X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscopy, the particle size distribution of composite powder was tested by the laser particle size distribution tester. The results show that phenomenon of sticking on ball and agglomeration of powder is reduced and powder extraction rate is improved by adding process control agent. The particle size of powder is extremely heterogeneous without process control agent. When using stearic acid and ethanol as PCA, Al2O3/Mo composite powder is gradually refined with the milling time, the particle size is relatively homogeneous. Particle shape experiences a transformation from spherality to flakiness to spherality and the refining rate of powder is higher when using ethanol as PCA. The particle size distribution is more uniform and small size cut is more when using stearic acid as PCA than using ethanol.
