摘要

Abstract

Valve hall is one of the most important components in EHV and UHV direct current transmission lines. Numerical simulation about valve hall is helpful to achieving reasonable arrangement of devices, determining the shape and size of fittings, and controlling electrical field intensity. In accordance with the valve hall of ± 660 kV DC transmission which is China's unique characteristics, we adopted the electrostatic field instantaneous load method in simulation. According to device parameters of converter transformer, we obtained the potential waveforms of the major equipment in valve hall by MATLAB simulation under light load power and rated power. Then we selected 16 groups of typical data from the waveforms to simulate, and obtained the maximum field intensity and field curves under corresponding case. The results show that maximum field intensity of the surface of power fitting meets the re quirements of the electric field control in valve hall under the current design and potential of loading, providing a reliable support for the design of valve hall.
