Abstract

In order to improve the oxidation stability of a mixture oil developed from mineral oil and natural eater,complex antioxidants used in the mixture oil were selected by using high-pressure differential scanning calorimetry(PDSC).The dielectric constant of mixture oil added into the complex antioxidants were compared with that of mineral oil.The complex antioxidants were also analyzed for the first time by Molecular modeling and FT-IR spectroscopy.PDSC results show that 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol(T501) and high-purity alkylation-α-naphthylamine(L06) are the best antioxidant used in the mixture oil,and the optimum concentration of the complex antioxidants in the mixture oil is 0.3%T501 + 0.3% L06.The dielectric constant of mixture oil added into the complex antioxidants is higher than that of mineral oil at the same temperature and frequency.Moreover,T501,L06 and T501+L06 molecular modeling results show that there is no chemical reaction between T501 and L06,and is confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopy of T501+L06,and the synergistic antioxidant of T501 and L06 makes the mixture oil to exhibit better oxidation stability than mineral oil.
