摘要

Abstract

Ti3SiC2/SiC composites were fabricated by reactive hot pressing method. The isothermal oxidation behaviors of Ti3SiC2/SiC composites with different contents of SiC had been investigated at 1100-1500 t in air for exposure time up to 20 h. The results showed that; (1 )The oxidation resistance of composites can be improved when the content of SiC was added to composites; (2) The oxidized layers of the Ti3SiC2/SiC composites were composed of two layers;the outer layer of TiO2 and the inner layer of mixtures of TiO2 and SiO2.
