摘要

Abstract

Silicon dioxide inorganic membranes for CH4/CO2 separation was prepared by sol-gel method and multiple separation layers process, using tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) as precursor and characterized by TG-DSC,nano particle analyzer as well as SEM. The results indicated that the silicon membranes showed excellent surface properties, with HNO3, EtOH and DMF as catalyst, cosolvent and chemical additive respectively; for the process multiple separation layers, the results show that separation factor of ideal CH4/CO2 is as high as 1. 73 for high-quality membranes, its effect is significantly higher than the separation factor 1.6 of a single sol, under 0. 025 Mpa. And the ability of silica membrane for the gas separation is improved.
