摘要

Abstract

Nickel ferrite nano-powders prepared by low-temperature solid-state reaction method were modified by dipping method with La2O3 rare-earth oxide.Crystal structure and morphology of samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Sensitivity properties of samples modified by La2O3 rare-earth oxide with different dosages were also investigated.Results reveal that La2O3 has an amorphous structure,and NiFe2O4 sensors modified with 4% La2O3 in mass have better sensitivity of 24.5,at a lower working temperature of 150 ℃,to 1 000 μL/L alcohol gas;therefore,the sensitivity is up to 36 at 250 ℃,to 1 000 μL/L acetone gas,and response–recovery time are 1 s and 10 s,respectively.The results indicate that modification with La2O3 rare-earth oxide can be used to develop a new gas sensor that works at low temperature.
