A double cladding dispersion flattened photonic crystal fiber with low confinement loss
摘要
Abstract
By means of multiple method, the dispersion characteristic, confinement loss and mode area of the a double cladding dispersion flattened photonic crystal fiber with double hole-to-hole spacing have been numerically investigated, meanwhile the dependence of dispersion and loss by varying the parameters of inner and outer cladding have been analyzed. By way of optimizing structural parameters, it is possible to design a seven-ring PCF with flattened dispersion of ± 0.5ps/(km·nm) from a wavelength of 0.29μ m to 1.82u m. The confinement loss is 2.2×103 dB/km, and the effective mode area can approach to 30u m2, with dispersion being insensitive to the deformation of outer cladding.关键词
