摘要

Abstract

2-Tert-butyl-6-(3-tert-butyl-2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzyl)-4-methyphenyl acrylate (called GM) is a novel bisphenol monoacrylate thermal stabilizer which has showed a good resistance to thermal degradation. The oxidation inducement parameters, mechanical properties and the color difference of different ABS specimens with different amount of antioxidant GM or 2246 were tested here. The results showed that owing to its special structure with an acrylic ester group and intramolecular hydrogen bond, the antioxidant GM is a very effective stabilizer for ABS specimens to resist the long-term thermo-oxidative degradation and discoloration.
