Abstract
Aim: To explore the genotoxicity of organic extract of vehicle exhaust on HepG2 cells in vitro. Methods: Cytokinesis-block micronucleus assay and comet assay were used to evaluate the genotoxicity of organic extract of vehicle exhaust (2.5,5.0 and 10.0 mg/L) on HepG2 cells. The solvent control group and positive control group were used as control. Results: There were significant differences in frequency of cytokinesis-block micronucleus and Olive tail moment a-mong five groups( F = 18. 608 and 9.525 ,P <0. 001). A significant increased frequency of cytokinesis-block micronucleus was observed in both 5. 0 and 10.0 mg/L dose group compared with the solvent control group( P < 0. 05 ) . A significant increased Olive tail moment was observed in three dose groups compared with the solvent control group(P <0.05 ). Conclusion :The organic extract of vehicle exhaust has a distinct genotoxicity on HepG2 cells in vitro.关键词
