Abstract
Aim:To investigate the expressions of Livin and Smac in pathologic scar tissue. Methods:RT-PCR and SP immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the mRNA and protein expressions of Livin and Smac in 55 pathologic scar ( 25 cases of keloid, 30 cases of hypertrophic scar ), 24 cases of non-pathologic scar and 20 cases of normal skin tissue. Results:There were significant differences in the expressions of Livin and Smac mRNA and protein in four kinds of tissue ( mRNA:F = 269.533 and 95.514,P <0.001 ;protein:x2 =36.611 and 26. 320, P < 0.001 ). Compared with the non-pathologic scar group and normal skin tissue group,the mRNA expression level and protein positive expression rate of Livin in keloid group and hypertrophic scar group were higher, while the mRNA expression level and protein positive expression rate of Smac in keloid group and hypertrophic scar group were lower( P < 0. 05 or 0. 008 ). There was negative association between Livin and Smac protein expression in pathologic scar ( rp = 0. 418, P < 0. 001 ). Conclusion: Livin and Smac might play an important role in the apoptosis pathway of pathologic scar.关键词
