摘要

Abstract

Rare earth-based hydrogen storage alloys are the first developed hydrogen storage alloys and the only hydrogen storage alloys applied in a large scale now.This review is devoted to review the progress in rare earth-based high performance hydrogen storage alloys.The preparation methods,such as induction melting,arc melting,vacuum magnetic levitation melting,and a novel method self-ignition combustion synthesis,are introduced.The modification treatment methods,such as heat treatment and surface treatment,are summarized.And the relevance between the composition and the performance of AB5-type and rare earth-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys are discussed respectively.
