Abstract
The independent power system for large-scale ship, cavern and subway must be reliable and safe, but most fault current is too high to break. As a result, the fault current should be limited. In this paper, the thermoelectric coupling and nonlinear dynamics model was established and the affect of structural parameters was analyzed with on temperature rising and interrupting characteristics. Some optimized parameters were achieved through simulations. A 380V/2500A prototype had been developed for temperature rising and interrupting test. Test results showed that the temperature rise was 38.3K, the opening time was 2281as and an whole opening time was 10101as. The research conclusions could be used for reference to design high speed interrupter for higher capacity system.关键词
