摘要

Abstract

The internal flow fields of an axial compressor before and after being polluted had been numerically simulated with three-dimensional CFD. The mechanism of compressor performance deterioration caused by fouling was analyzed by comparison. The results showed that the effect of fouling on the compressor flow field mainly concentrated in the blade suction side and trailing edge region. Fouling results boundary layer turned into transition early in the middle of the suction side with larger adverse pressure gradient, expanded the area of low-speed recirculation zone in the wake region, and increased cascade flow losses
