摘要

Abstract

The decomposition and recovery of waste rare earth polishing powder by concentrated sulphuric acid at low temperature were studied.The effect of amount of sulphuric acid,reaction time and temperature were investigated in detail.The recovery yield of rare earth was more than 95%.The process of decomposition was monitored by the thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis and infrared spectroscopy.It was divided into two stages of 270 ℃ and 300 ℃,at which the decomposition of REO and rare earth oxy-fluoride were occurred.
