摘要

Abstract

The FLUENT6.2.16 software is used to simulate the flow field in cyclones.The distributions of the tangential velocity,axial velocity,radial velocity and static pressure are presented at the different wall roughness.The tangential velocity decreases evidently with the increase of wall roughness.The axial velocity has no obvious regular variety,but increases in the vortex core region of the upper part of the cyclone body,and the retention phenomenon in the vortex core region is weakened.The radial velocity decreases with the increase of wall roughness in the most part of flow field.The static pressure decreases with the increase of wall roughness in the outer vortex region.Finally,the mechanisms of reduction in pressure loss and separation efficiency of the cyclone separator caused by the wall roughness are discussed.
