CFD/CSD Couping Numerical Computational Method Based on N-S Equations

Abstract
For the aeroelastical problems, the modal superpositon method would be invalid on the condition of subsonic and gross distortion. New method on coupling flow equations should be developed. The aeroelastical problem of wings is analyzed. Navier Stokes equations based on cell-centered finite volume discretization is used to obtain aerodynamic performance. To generate grids for CFD simulation, a multi-block, three-dimensional moving grid method is developed. Finite element equations are used to compute structural dynamics. Boundary information between the CFD and CSD codes is exchanged through the developed program. A coupling computational method of CFD and CSD is developed and a numerical simulation study of static aeroelastic for three-dimensional aircraft wing is carried out. The results show that using the developed CFD/CSD coupling procedure to solve aeroelastic problems is efficient and could be applied to the field of engineering design.关键词
