摘要

Abstract

Shimmy is a key subject of aircraft taxing dynamics. Based on multi-body dynamics theory, a flexible model of shimmy is developed by the means of FEM Method and point-curve coincidence, and verified with the data of static test. Figures of stable region are presented accordingly, formed by taxiing speed and critical anti- shimmy damping coefficient, to explore the effects of tire lateral stiffness and running clearance. The result shows that the method is effective to deal with flexible shock observer by means of point-curve coincidence. Critical damping coefficient decreases with taxing speed increasing when using the second anti-shimmy damping in the situation of the speed is higher than 10 m/s, and increases with tire lateral stiffness increasing, running clearance leads to sharp increase in critical damping coefficient.
