摘要

Abstract

The research presented in this paper focuses on the simulation of the operation of pulse detonation rocket engine (PDRE) with small energy ignition model, for the aim to form a better numerical simulation method. A finite-rate chemistry computational fluid dynamics model and second order upwind scheme are used in the 2-D simulation of PDRE working processes. Spark ignition model in CFD software is used to simulate the spark plug ignition(50 mJ)which is also used in the experiment. The results of simulation are well agreed with those in our experiment. It is demonstrated that the methods of mesh generation and calculation in this paper can be used in the simulation of working process of PDRE initiated by small energy ignition.
