摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the ability of the Battlefield Situation Awareness, US and NATO armies designed the new IFF system of Mark XIIA Mode 5. Firstly, this paper introduces Mark XIIA Mode 5 IFF system and analyses the key techniques of the system, such as RS encode. Tamed spread spectrum and MSK modulation. Secondly, based on the key techniques of the system the model of the system was designed, and Matlab was regarded as the simulation software platform, the time domain waveform and spectrum of the signal were acquired and analysed. Finally, acquired the bit error rate of the system, the simulation results show that the Mark XIIA _ Mode5 system has high performance of anti-jamming.
